Solo woman traveler practicing yoga during a wellness retreat in the lush green outdoors of Nepal

Experience Nepal Through the Eyes of Those Who Know It Best

The women of SASANE Sisterhood are not tour guides in the traditional sense. They are trafficking survivors who rebuilt their lives through tourism — and now they share that Nepal with you.

To Do Award recognized our organization at ITB, Berlin for establishing a Sustainable and Ethical Tourism model in Nepal.

A Different Nepal — Himalayan Villages, Hidden Trails, Real Connections

Forget the overcrowded tourist trails. SASANE Sisterhood takes you through picturesque Himalayan villages, mountain passes, river gorges, and communities most travelers never reach. Our itineraries are handpicked by survivors who grew up in these places — women who know which valley the crowds have never found.

The Guardian listed SASANE as one of the highlights any travelers to Nepal must experience in their reviews.

We Are Nepal's Role Model

In 2016, SASANE Sisterhood began training trafficking survivors as certified tour guides in Nepal. What started as one woman's determination has since grown into a model recognized across the world; that tourism itself can dismantle trafficking networks.
By training trafficking survivors as certified trekking guides, hospitality professionals, and culinary experts, SASANE does not merely empowers women — it transforms them into leaders who earn dignified incomes, rebuild their families, and become the most powerful anti-trafficking voices in their own communities.
