Sisterhood
Gosainkunda is a freshwater lake at the height of 4380m which lies within the Langtang National Park. Its waters are considered holy and of particular significance during the Gangadashahara and the Janai Purnima festivals when thousands of pilgrims from Nepal and India visit the area. It is believed to be formed during the Samundra Manthan. Gosaikunda is believed to have been created by Lord Shiva when he thrust his Trishul (holy Trident) into a mountain to extract water so that he could cool his stinging throat after he had swallowed poison.
This trek takes you through the varied landscapes and green forest ranging from subtropical to the alpine environment, terraced fields, waterfalls, streams, hills, and super scenic mountains view.

On the way,you can discover different species of flora and fauna;as you will be stepping in Langtang National Park. Also if you are lucky you get to encounter various endangered species like Red Panda.
After breakfast, start the trek towards Laurebina. In the beginning we pass through a forest and later we cross the barren hills. We can see different small villages on the opposite hills. At Laurebina, you can see the full panoramic view of the Langtang Range. From here, you can see the mesmerizing sunset in the mountains.
Early in the morning, have breakfast and trek towards Gosainkunda. On the way you can find many other Kundas; such as Bhairav Kunda(4261m), Saraswati Kunda(4054m) and Kyumachho Kunda(4329m), Surya Kunda(4610m).
Today we walk up and downhill on a trail that passes through the bamboo forest where you might be lucky enough to spot the Red Panda. Today the path is rough and stone paved, which takes us to Thadepati village. We climb a ridge above the village and continue our trek. From the ridge, we can view the hills and Soli Danda, in particular, is beautiful. During spring, we see various rhododendrons in full bloom. Various cattles like Mountain Cows and Sheeps grazing on the pasture can also be seen.
The walk from Thadepati today is a wonderful exploration of the Helambu region. The trail is steep downhill and passes through a dense forest. It is an incredible place to explore a mixture of culture and spirituality. We can see the Hyolmo (Sherpa) settlements and immerse ourselves in the charm of both culture and spirituality.
After breakfast, explore the nearby cave and start the drive towards Kathmandu.
