During the boat ride we interact with the female boat driver - belonging to the indegenious ‘botey’ community and learn about their experiences. After about 4-5 hrs we reach Majhi Kuna, where from a tower we can see both the Begnas and Rupa lakes. Birds like Ducks, Pheasant-Tailed Jacana, Hoppie Grey Bellied Tesia, Common Pintail Snipe, Bulbuls etc. live around these lakes and people, from kids to adults, line up for fishing.
