Story Behind: In the year 2016, SASANE started a project to empower women by providing alternative source of income for human trafficking Survivors who were unable to work as a paralegal.
After the earthquake of 2015, women from vulnerable background needed a sustainable source of income. Since 2016, Sisterhood has been catering Mo:Mo cooking classes together with traditional Nepali dish to travellers from all around the globe. The proceedings from the classes, souvenirs and books are used to combat human trafficking and empowering vulnerable women of Nepal.
Mo:Mo are typically grounded vegetable and meat wrapped in a dough which is then steam cooked in a big pot. Nepalese devour Mo:Mo in every season and at any time. If you are curious about Mo:Mo, and you want to learn to make them in a relaxed atmosphere while supporting the noble cause SASANE is undertaking, then come and pay us a visit.
